THE MUBARAK MONTH OF RAMADAN (POEM)
The Mubarak Month of Ramadan (Poem)
Written by Muhammad Umer Grade 8 The City School Karachi
The holy month of Ramadan has begun
Shaitan and his evil team are on the run
The fasting between sunset and sunrise
Earns a lot of ajr for use after our demise
Pleasures a fast brings to a Muslim’s heart
Last forever and never from us do part
The fast from Allah, upon us, is truly a gift
Which will earn thawab for our final shift
The joyful Eid-ul-Fitr after all the fasting
Shall be a just reward for us everlasting
Shaitan and his evil team are on the run
The fasting between sunset and sunrise
Earns a lot of ajr for use after our demise
Pleasures a fast brings to a Muslim’s heart
Last forever and never from us do part
The fast from Allah, upon us, is truly a gift
Which will earn thawab for our final shift
The joyful Eid-ul-Fitr after all the fasting
Shall be a just reward for us everlasting
A poem that brings as much peace to the soul as does Allah's holy month.
ReplyDeleteI was - and still am - immensely surprised that this is written by a student in 8th Grade.
Your poem deserves an applause by all Muslims all over the world.
Thank you for penning this and keep on writing.
